The history of Pancasari reflects its transformation from a small highland farming hamlet into a culturally rich and strategically important village in North Bali. Originally known as Banjar Sari and later Banjar Benyah due to its difficult terrain, the area thrived through resilient agricultural communities specializing in highland crops. In 1966, the village adopted the name Pancasari, symbolizing “five essences,” interpreted as both spiritual values and the natural blessings of the land.
