It offers visitors a unique safari-style experience inspired by African wildlife and Balinese cultural design.
From the beginning, the park was carefully planned with strong respect for the natural environment and local Balinese traditions. The site was selected for its fertile landscape and proximity to Bali’s cultural heartland. The architecture reflects traditional Balinese style, with themed environments, stone carvings, and temple-inspired structures, creating a harmonious blend between wildlife habitats and local cultural identity.
Bali Safari & Marine Park also plays a vital role as a breeding and conservation center for endangered species from Indonesia, India, and Africa. The park is a member of the Association of Indonesian Zoos and is involved in important conservation programs, including the protection of the Bali Starling (Jalak Bali) and other rare animals. Its spacious, naturalistic enclosures are designed to reflect the animals’ original habitats as closely as possible.
